Our Centre and Location Alston Training & Adventure Centre offers environmental outdoor education activities and lies half way along the Coast to Coast Cycle Route. It is an excellent stop over site for those partaking in this activity. Alston Moor is so unique that it has been given the title of “Englands Last Wilderness”. It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as an Area Of Special Scientific Interest. Alston Moor is sandwiched between the National Parks of the Lake District and Northumbria providing an ideal environment for visiting and experiencing the delights of the area.For those wishing to take a mini-break during their C2C ride, why not include some time with us - participating in such activities as abseiling, canoeing, gorge scrambling, mine exploration or others to suit your interest.
